JOB TITLE: Sales and Marketing Manager – GMC Place Kitengela
LOCATION: GMC Place – Kitengela
REPORTS TO: General Manager.

Job Purpose:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will support the GMC Place – Kitengela in achieving sales targets and enhancing brand visibility through effective marketing strategies. The role involves coordinating events, managing client relationships, driving the brand’s online presence, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan within the initial period of starting work.
  2. Conduct targeted marketing activities towards corporate clients from different counties.
  3. Secure corporate events and various other events, such as weddings, baby showers, and birthday parties.
  4. Engage groups and organizations to host meetings and activities at GMC.
  5. Promote and secure group events, including swimming teams and graduation ceremonies.
  6. Organize theme night events according to the planned schedule.
  7. Enhance the brand’s online visibility by sharing content, engaging with audiences, and collaborating with digital marketing experts.
  8. Maintain a customer referral schedule and build a database of repeat customers.
  9. Collect and analyze customer feedback and suggestions, and provide regular reports to the General Manager Directors.
  10. Provide daily and monthly reports on sales and marketing activities, including the results achieved.
  11. Perform other related duties as required from time to time.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or related roles. Experience in the hospitality or events industry is an added advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Creative and strategic thinking capabilities.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.
    • Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
